About Me
I have been practicing yoga since my teens and teaching Iyengar Yoga since 2015. I discovered the Iyengar method relatively late on, after hurling myself around the mat for quite a few years (picking up an injured wrist on the way), and immediately fell in love. I found that the use of props, precision of movement and attention to detail allowed me to practice despite my injured wrist and that the technical side of the discipline fitted my personality perfectly - I had always been that person in class horrified by fellow students’ bad alignment and wanting to correct them!
Before the Covid-19 lockdown, I taught in various yoga studios and corporate environments around Central and North/East London but now most of my teaching happens on Zoom.
My classes are fun and challenging and my teaching style is clear, detailed and precise. All levels are welcome to join, although I recommend that complete beginners and those with medical conditions or injuries contact me first for a free initial assessment.
